Modular Construction for Healthcare Facilities
The BuyBoard is a customized electronic purchasing system developed by the Local Government Purchasing Cooperative and administered by the Texas Association of School Boards. It is available through an interlocal participation agreement to all Texas and Oklahoma cities, counties, state agencies, colleges/universities, school districts and special utility districts, and to non-profit agencies through a non-profit subscriber agreement. The cooperative uses Internet-based technologies to create a single source for product and awarded contract information. All of the items and catalogs posted on the BuyBoard have been competitively procured and awarded by the Cooperative's Board of Trustees based on Texas statutes. This eliminates the need for BuyBoard members to go through the traditional bidding process on their own. Ramtech Building Systems was the first modular building company to be awarded a contract from the BuyBoard, and we continue to offer the most comprehensive number of traditional and permanent modular medical facilities available through it. Ramtech is also the only approved vendor to offer Slab-On-Grade Permanent Modular buildings through the BuyBoard.
HGACBuy is a "Government-to-Government" procurement service for products and services that is available to governmental entities nationwide. Administered by the Houston-Galveston Area Council, the HGACBuy program has been available for over 30 years and all units of local government including non-profits providing governmental services are eligible to join. The program assists other local governments in making the procurement process more efficient by establishing competitively priced contracts for goods and services and providing the customer service necessary to help its members achieve their procurement goals. All contracts available to the members of HGACBuy have been awarded by virtue of a publicly bid competitive procurement process compliant with state statutes (view authorizing state statutes here). Ramtech currently has a wide selection of temporary and permanent modular buildings available through the HGACBuy program. Information from the Houston-Galveston Area Council on the HGACBuy program is available here, or you can call 1-800-926-0234.
